Export JSON for backups, PNG for your alliance chat or CSV for Lord coordinates. Officers save multiple plans and choose the default members can read.

02Questions

Base planner FAQ

Is the Top Lords base planner free?

The public tool is free and works without an account. Plans are stored in your browser. Export JSON to back them up or move them to another device.

Can I configure castle and alliance building sizes?

Yes. The neutral defaults are a 1×1 castle, a 3×3 alliance building and a 1×1 marker. You can change each footprint, coordinate anchor and colour; these are planning settings, not verified game geometry.

How do Lord coordinates map to the grid?

Set the bottom-left game coordinate as the grid origin, or anchor a placed object to a known game coordinate. Every export and import uses the object’s configured anchor. Game Y increases upward.

Does auto-assignment save changes automatically?

No. Review the proposed coordinates and confirm the preview, then save the alliance plan. Auto-assignment keeps existing castles in place and orders unplaced Lords by role, then Lord power or hero power.

Can I import coordinates from a CSV?

Yes. Use Name, X and Y columns, with an optional Lord ID. Review exact Lord matches, choose a rostered Lord for unresolved rows or skip them. Alliance imports have an undo action in Activity Log.

Can members edit the alliance plan on mobile?

Members see the default plan read-only. Mobile shows a read-only coordinate list and exports. Officers edit on desktop, and verified linked Lords see their saved coordinate in My Lord.
